I recently returned from the "Activate the Goddess Within 3" retreat, and wow, what an incredible experience for both my soul and body. Julietta and Graciela crafted a sacred and safe space where I truly felt seen, heard, and felt. The vulnerability shared among the women led to profound insights and personal breakthroughs. The entire retreat was seamlessly organized – from delicious meals and well-timed breaks to engaging agenda topics, everything ran like a well-oiled machine. Graciela Laurent

Reiki Master, Sound Practitioner, Cacao Ceremonialist, Forest Therapy Guide, Photographer, and Co-Founder of Body & Soul Ministries.

Graciela Laurent, a published, award-winning, and professionally certified portrait photographer, weaves a tapestry of spirituality, healing and visual artistry. As a Reiki Master, Certified Cacao Ceremonialist, Certified Sound Practitioner and Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Graciela infuses her photography with a profound spiritual dimension, creating more than just images—she captures the essence of a person.

She is not only an artist behind the lens but also a community advocate, serving on non-profit boards and holding leadership roles in women's organizations. In 2020, the Graciela Valdes Community Advocate Award was established in her honor, a testament to her impactful contributions.

As the co-founder of Body & Soul Ministries, Graciela extends her passion for authenticity and freedom beyond photography. In the Ministry, her roles as Reiki Master, Cacao Ceremonialist, Sound Practitioner and Forest Therapy Guide take center stage, providing a transformative and sacred space for individuals on their healing journey.

Nestled in the mountains of Murphy, North Carolina, Graciela shares her home with life partner Tim, and together they embrace a full life with four children and two grandchildren. Their adventuresome spirit and love for travel mirror the bold and authentic essence that Graciela brings to both her photography and her role within Body & Soul Ministries.

Julietta Wenzel

Hello, I'm Julietta Wenzel – healer and founder of Body & Soul Ministries!

For years, I carried the title of physical therapist, even teaching other therapists around the world. But those I served often called me a witch, medicine woman, Jedi, sorceress, and guru—each title reflecting the depth and breadth of my spiritual gifts. These names were a testament to my ability to channel wisdom, energy, and transformation in ways that went far beyond traditional physical therapy.

This recognition inspired me to evolve my practice into a ministry and enter the private domain, where I could fully embrace my calling. Today, I serve others in all aspects of healing—body, mind, and spirit—creating sacred spaces where true, holistic transformation can unfold. My journey is a testament to the power of stepping into one’s true purpose and using those gifts to uplift and heal others.

In all my spiritual studies, I’ve come to understand that our purpose here in this life is twofold: to remember who we truly are and to serve. As I walk this path of remembering who I am, I feel deeply called to support you in remembering who you are. I share my gifts through individual healing sessions, group sessions, sacred ceremonies, workshops, and retreats, all designed to guide you toward physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Stepping into my authentic self and serving others in ways that resonate with me has created so much more joy, fulfillment, and freedom in my life. I believe the world needs more of us to embrace our authenticity and share our unique gifts with the world. I'm also committed to creating a community of like-minded souls to walk this healing journey together, supporting and uplifting one another as we grow.

Dorice Ross

Hello, I am Dorice “Sunny” Ross, and I have recently joined this beautiful ministry to deepen my spiritual path and be surrounded by those who seek to know their true Being.

My education and work have brought me full circle, first as a physical education teacher, as a physical therapist assistant, back around to teaching physical therapy at the university level. At the same time, my spirituality blossomed from being raised a Catholic and my mother introducing me to “laying on of hands” to diving into a variety of spiritual traditions including Hinduism, Buddhism, Sufism and most recently ancient Egyptian deities.

I have always had a fascination of both spirituality and psychology in my adult years, which led me into an intensive mentoring program to study Jungian psychology, Gestalt therapy and other psychological healing systems. In addition to the above, my hands on healing as a therapist included training, certifications and techniques such as Reiki and Hands of Light.

All of this, I now understand, was a journey to prepare me to return to energy healing, a place where I started in this life and the knowing that we ALL exist in Oneness.

My approach to assist other’s in their healing and remembering their Divinity, has largely incorporated the Divine Feminine aspects of co-creating a safe space and allowing Source/God/Universe/Divine Consciousness to lead the way. An opening and exploration with empathic reception to a person’s need to express their pain and suffering, whether it is physical, emotional, mental or energetic helps those release any aspects of Self which does not serve them any longer. This is a facilitation process, through which a variety of energetic healing modalities can be applied (toning, music, tissue manipulation, energy or conversation), depending on what resonates with the client.

My unwavering hope and intention is to be a person who provides and serves with LOVE and the instilled truth of Oneness.
